We are seeking you to be a Cluck 'N' Cleaver ambassadors and future leaders in a hospitality-driven, fun, and team-oriented environment as one of our Crew Members. In the Crew Member role, you must be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high volume, and team-oriented atmosphere. We are seeking energetic, fun, warm, friendly, and highly motivated candidates. You will work directly with the guidance of the General manager and crew supervisors. And be trained in both the Customer crew and food crew positions, customer crew members primarily focus on exceptional customer experiences and food crew members primarily focus on creating cluckin' delicious food.

Responsibilities of a crew member:

  • Maintains health and safety standards in work areas
  • Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed
  • Performs duties at multiple workstations
  • Verifies the accuracy of guests' orders
  • Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
  • Follows Cluck 'N' Cleaver uniform and grooming standards and policies
  • Works to resolve issues that may arise in the restaurant
  • Learns team effectiveness skills; works with others to achieve team goals
  • Responds to guests' needs in a professional and polite manner
  • Communicates in a positive manner with customers, peers, and managers
  • Be able to adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency
  • Have the ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu
  • Consistently and accurately using prep sheets, procedures, cleaning checklists, station inventory and maintenance checklists
  • Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments, and responds appropriately to customer issues
  • Prepares, stocks and maintains beverages
  • Operates cash register or point of sale devices, as needed, and uses value-added suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities
  • Packages food and drink products
  • Cleans dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds
  • Providing friendly, quality customer service to each and every guest
  • Working toward understanding and articulating Food With Integrity
  • Prepares and packages food products
  • Following recipes accurately and maintaining food preparation processes such as cooking, marinating, seasoning, and frying chicken; chopping herbs; dicing, cutting, and slicing vegetables
  • Cleans kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas, and utensils Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
  • Have the ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen
  • Maintaining appropriate portion control and consistently monitoring food levels in kitchen
  • Preparing food throughout the day as needed, anticipating and reacting to customer volume
  • Completing hot and cold food preparation assignment accurately, neatly, and in a timely fashion

 The ideal crew candidate:

  • Open availability is strongly desired
  • No previous experience required
  • Previous hospitality and/or food service experience would be a plus.
  • On-the-job training is provided
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities
  • Must be dedicated to excellence and hospitality
  • Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
